Linda MoyerMassage Therapy
Linda’s interest in anatomy and physiology culminated with her study of pre-veterinarian science. With that in mind, she attended Texas A&M University and received her Bachelor of Science in Animal Science-Science Option. After graduation, she joined her sister on the S/Y Drumbeat II in the sunny Caribbean. The island bug bit her and she stayed for eight years serving as Stewardess at M/Y Charisma, Chief Stewardess at M/Y Life’s Finest II, Stewardess at S/Y Irishman and several others. Honoring her lust for travel, she set out on a sail across the Atlantic Ocean on the S/Y Logos, a 32 foot Columbia, which proved to be an adventurous and action filled voyage.
Returning stateside, Linda became a Licensed Massage Therapist, educated at The Lauterstein-Conway School of Massage. She chose this school because of their extensive curriculum that allows for a more extensive study of advanced modalities including Swedish, Deep Tissue, Sports and Shiatsu Massage training. Additionally Lauterstein-Conway offers a community of like-minded therapists and continuing education to maintain current licensing. Upon graduation in 2006, she began her massage career by offering private sessions. She then secured a position with the Mokara Hotel & Spa on the San Antonio Riverwalk. She moved to Chestertown three years ago and lives with her husband, Adam, and their five kitties.
